I think there is something fishy going on in this game.
The vote for last round was very easy. Kim was eliminated because she was weak. She was inactive and had to go. I believe that no matter the twist, the dead weight must go early. Everyone agreed. I received a vote, but I do not think much of it.
However, this round is quite a bit different from last. Suddenly the same people touting activity and fairness in boots have changed their tones. 5 people did not do the challenge, but John is the target.
I have spoken with John the most. We are not allied, but I do feel a measure of trust towards him, and I feel that he is a good person to keep around.
But the dogs circled on him, and John is done.
I am angry. I don't like it when people hold grudges based on past games and I feel that this is what has happened here.
I considered voting him, but I could not do that. So, the game is on. I'm just going to have to avenge him.

Hey Danielle! I have a few questions for you 1) As of right now, who are your closest allies? Why have you aligned with them? What makes you trust them? 2) In what way does the unpredictable nature of this game affect your strategy? 3) Who do you see as a threat? Who do you see as worthless? How will these roles play into voting?

Hi Amanda! I will answer these when I wake up tomorrow. If I forget, please remind me! I haven't been confessing as much as I would like.

Hi Amanda! I will answer these when I wake up tomorrow. If I forget, please remind me! I haven't been confessing as much as I would like. Part of why I am here! Helping people get into the game is part of my job. At least that's how I feel! And don't worry - I can remind people for months until they do that something. (aka this is reminder #1)

1) As of right now, who are your closest allies? Why have you aligned with them? What makes you trust them?
I don't consider myself to have any really close allies at this point. Troyzan and I have talked the most strategy though, following John's departure, and I feel like he may be a good person to approach for something bigger. Right now, though, I think there isn't a lot of harm in floating a bit. It is not something I want to keep up all game, but for now, until I find my place, I do not think it will hurt.
2) In what way does the unpredictable nature of this game affect your strategy?
This is a part of why I'm going with the floating strategy for the moment rather than push myself into a commitment. I believe due to the way the game shifts, making friends is about as risky as making enemies. Either one can have their benefit, but for now I will be playing with my own goals close to the vest and acting like I am up for anything.
3) Who do you see as a threat? Who do you see as worthless? How will these roles play into voting?
I don't think anyone is worthless now that Kim and Michael and Christine are eliminated. The fact that John is stuck there in the middle of them, though, is both an insult to him and an example of the danger in this game. I believe Erik is the biggest threat of the game right now, or at least the most obvious. He seems to have a lot of friends, a lot of pull, and in a game where I am clearly not the only "floater," he has an incredible amount of power. All he needs is the word "majority" and he's won his battles.
If I can find Erik's alliances, or get him onto a team with me, alone, I will find a way to extinguish his flame.
